Obaseki wins and returns as Edo State Governor

Godwin Obaseki wins Ize Iyamu to return as Governor – Edo State, Southern Nigeria.

According to reports by Award9ja, the total number of voters in this council area is 73,909, which is lesser than the margin between Obaseki and Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC, who is his closest rival.

Obaseki of Edo State is projected to win Saturday’s governorship election in the state and He achieved the feat after amassing massive votes and voice by deciding their 2020 choice.

The election was announced free and fair as results from 17 Local Government Areas declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission so far, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading with over 82,000 votes.

President of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari congratulates Godwin Obaseki for the victory on Edo State election and also appreciates Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their wonderfull work.
